Baby proofing

I have semi-baby-proofed the feeding area. I used contact paper (Target mops&brooms aisle) that looks a little like granite. Really it looks like Formica. I applied it directly to the wall and made it 42" high (3.5'). It's not sticking real well. We will see what happens.

New Necklace

I got a necklace today! It came in the mail straight from beautiful Salado TX and the Big and Chunky Jewelry Co.

Craft Party!

You know those beautiful parties you see on line with every tiny thing decorated? I got to go to one! HA! And it was even more fun than you can see in the photos because these detail people, they are great at planning crafts for you.
Plus I finally conquered my fear of cutting out many small circles (minisphereaphobia).

Go see it:

You'll see a lady cutting out a picture of a girl with a ponytail. I was sitting next to her!

Spoonflower

<a href='http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/337881' title = 'The Firebird (A Russian Folk Tale) by ceanirminger on Spoonflower - custom fabric'><img src='http://www.spoonflower.com/design_thumbnails/0033/7881/rrthe-firebird_shop_preview.png' alt='The Firebird (A Russian Folk Tale)'/></a>

I finally decided to sit down and see what this "Spoonflower" thing was all about. Ok, it's amazing!
AH-MAZE-EEN!
It's fabric that anybody can make! You can make up any design! Anything. Now I know what you're thinking. I'm not really into designing my own fabric. I wouldn't know where to start. Ah but are you into photography? Scan in some family photos, doctor them a little and you could upload them to Spoonflower order the fabric and make family photo ties, totes, handbags! How about everyone gets a Stocking with their FACE on it! Or say you have a favorite toy (or you kids, or your husband) take a photo, make the pattern repeat (a function they have on their site) and next thing you know - a customized pillowcase.
One nice feature is you can make your design private, so if the picture is not one you want everyone to see you can control that.
Another cool thing is patterns! Type in skirt pattern or dress pattern into the search box and you'll get lots of preprinted patterns (cut it out sew it up!) For everything from the solar system to 18" doll clothes!
I am so excited about this. Hmmm, I'm already thinking how can this help me with my plot to take over the world?
